Wisconsin AG Secured Settlement with Company over Water Pollution Violations

Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul announced a $100,000 settlement with a company that operates non-metallic mining sites over alleged violations of its Wisconsin Pollution Discharge Elimination System permit. According to the state’s complaint, Paul Bugar Trucking, Inc. and its owner failed to collect water and other samples, failed to treat wastewater before discharging it, exceeded pollution discharge limits, and failed to submit annual inspection reports.
