Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul announced a settlement with Emerald Sky Dairy regarding wastewater violations. The state alleged in their complaint that the company improperly applied manure near their concentrated animal feeding operation (CAFO), which discharged into a nearby waterway after a storm and violated water quality standards. The company was required to pay $65,000.
