Wisconsin AG Announced Civil Action against Ethanol Production Companies for Violating Air Pollution Permits

Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul filed a civil environmental enforcement action against Didion Milling, Inc., and Didion Ethanol, LLC, for violating air pollution permits at the companies’ corn million and ethanol production facilities, according to the complain. As major emitters of carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, and volatile organic compounds, the facilities are regulated under the Clean Air Act and must comply with permits. The complaint alleges 30 permit violations by the companies.
