Washington AG Filed Animal Cruelty Charges against Animal Shelter

Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson filed a total of 48 criminal charges against an animal shelter company and two of their employees for committing animal cruelty. The charges included six felonies and 42 gross misdemeanors for actions that included neglecting animals at the shelter by failing to feed them, ignoring their medical needs, and subjecting them to dangerous living conditions. The defendants face prison time and fines, if convicted.
