Washington AG Filed a Motion to Intervene on CAISO Proceedings Regarding Tariff Amendments

Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson’s office filed a motion to intervene with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission “concerning the California Independent System Operator Corporation’s (CAISO) application for a tariff amendment to implement reference level changes for Washington resources to reflect compliance costs associated with Washington’s Climate Commitment Act.” According to the motion, the AG’s office supported the proposed tariff amendment, and requested more time to respond to an intervenor to the proceeding that planned to assert constitutional arguments against Washington’s Climate Commitment Act as a basis to deny the tariff amendment.
