Twenty-One AGs Sent Comments Calling on EPA to Set Even Stricter Emissions Standards for Light- and Medium-Duty Vehicles

California Attorney General Rob Bonta led a coalition of 21 attorneys general—along with the county of Denver and the cities of Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Oakland—in sending comments on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) proposed emissions standards for light- and heavy-duty vehicles for model year 2027 and later. The AGs urged EPA to adopt even stricter greenhouse gas and criteria pollutant emissions standards than those proposed.
