OCTOBER 6, 2022
New York Attorney General Letitia James led a coalition of 13 attorneys general in comments on the Department of Energy’s (DOE) proposed updates to energy conservation standards for gas furnaces. In their letter, the AGs highlighted that the total benefits of the updated standards—which include consumer savings, health benefits, and avoided climate impacts—would amount to $4 billion a year.
