Texas AG Settled with Company over Oil Spill

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced a settlement with Kirby Inland Marine, LLP, a company whose barge spilled over 150,000 gallons of oil into Galveston Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, harming marine life and natural habitats. The company will pay $15.3 million towards projects that will restore areas affected by the spill.
