Texas AG Reached Settlement with Volkswagen and Audi over Emissions Fraud

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton reached an agreement with Volkswagen and Audi settling claims that the companies used illegal technology to evade emissions standards. Under the settlement, the companies were required to pay a civil penalty of $85 million.
