Six AGs Filed Comments Opposing Transportation Department’s Proposed Repeal of Greenhouse Gas Performance Measure

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra led a coalition of six attorneys general in filing comments opposing a proposal by the Transportation Department’s Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to repeal the Greenhouse Gas Performance Measure, which “requires all states to track on-road greenhouse gas emissions, to set locally-appropriate performance targets, and to ensure consistency in data collection.”
