Seventeen AGs Supported Minnesota’s Climate Case in Amicus Brief

Washington Attorney General Robert Ferguson led a coalition of 17 attorneys general in filing an amicus brief in Minnesota v. American Petroleum Institute urging the Court to reject the attempt by fossil fuel companies to move the case to federal court. The initial lawsuit by Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison alleged that the companies misled consumers about the harms of using fossil fuels and knowingly contributed to climate change.
