Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha submitted comments responding to a request for information on changes and upgrades to the regional electric transmission system that are needed in order to integrate renewable energy resources. by a joint five-state clean energy initiative in New England. The initiative, which includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, launched in September 2022 to better integrate clean energy in New England by coordinating on transmission infrastructure improvements.
