Oklahoma AG Commented on Decision in Federal Lawsuit to Protect State Waters

Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond commented on Oklahoma Northern District Federal Judge Gregory Frizzell’s decision to side with the state in a lawsuit about the environmental damages done to the Illinois River watershed and Lake Tenkiller. The lawsuit was originally filed in 2005 against 13 poultry companies for litter disposal. Judge Frizzell ordered the parties to try to reach an agreement by March 17th, 2023.
