Nine AGs Sent Letter to Solar Lending Companies Urging Customer Payment Freeze
NOVEMBER 22, 2022
Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron led a coalition of nine attorneys general in sending a letter to Pink Energy Lending Partners urging them to pause all loan payment obligations to their companies and any interest accrual for consumers who were fraudulently misled into entering loan agreements. The coalition asked for this pause to last until individual consumer complaint investigations are completed. Consumer complaints alleged solar power systems were never installed, operated improperly, or did not operate at all.
