New York AG Announced Conviction of Corporation for Illegal Disposal of Hazardous Railroad Ties

New York Attorney General Letitia James, along with Department of Environmental Conservation Commissioner Basil Seggos, announced the conviction of a Kentucky-based company, Cross Tie Disposal Inc., for illegally disposing of hazardous railroad ties and for falsifying records that showed the ties were disposed of properly. The convictions brought penalties and fines on both the corporation and their Vice President and held them responsible for removing and properly disposing of the ties.
