New Mexico AG Launched Extreme Heat Task Force

New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas launched a task force to assess and develop plans to respond in times of extreme heat waves, in addition to other actions the state is taking to prevent blackouts during the summer. The task force will consist of state, local, and tribal government leaders, as well as industry experts, and will focus on community-level communication about preparing for and responding to heat wave risks.
