New Jersey AG Sued Used Car Dealership for Tampering with Emissions Control System

New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal, along with the Department of Environmental Protection, filed a lawsuit against The Car House, a used auto dealership, for allegedly tampering with the emissions control system of a vehicle before selling it. The lawsuit sought payment of a prior civil penalty that the dealership failed to pay, as well as restitution to the buyer.
