New Jersey AG Sued Owners of Manufacturing Company over Lead and Petroleum Contamination

New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal, along with the Department of Environmental Protection, filed a lawsuit against Elizabeth Bolt & Nut Manufacturing and affiliated owners and operators related to lead, petroleum, and other contaminants at the site of the company’s facility. The lawsuit sought remediation of the property and payment of statutory penalties. This action was part of a tranche of lawsuits taken as part of the New Jersey AG Office’s environmental justice initiative.
