New Jersey AG Sued Gas Station Owner for Allegedly Contaminating Soil and Groundwater with Petroleum

New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal, along with the Department of Environmental Protection, filed a lawsuit against the owner of a former gas station (located at the former site of Arlington Diner) over allegations of petroleum contamination related to a 12,000-gallon underground fuel storage tank at the property. This action was part of a tranche of lawsuits taken as part of the New Jersey AG Office’s environmental justice initiative.
