New Jersey AG Filed Lawsuit over Pollution Stemming from Gasoline Contamination at Service Station

New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal, along with the Department of Environmental Protection, filed a lawsuit against former owners and operators of a Delta Service Station in Edison over allegations of gasoline contamination at the property, which polluted nearby soil and groundwater with hazardous substances such as benzene, MTBE, and xylenes. This action was part of a tranche of lawsuits taken as part of the New Jersey AG Office’s environmental justice initiative.
