New Jersey AG Filed Lawsuit against Auto Repair Company for Unsafe Underground Storage Tank

New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal, along with the Department of Environmental Protection, filed a lawsuit against Adolfo Auto Repair over allegations that the company violated safety regulations relating to underground storage tanks at its auto repair facility. The lawsuit sought to compel the company’s owner to “pay civil penalties, and to hire a remediation professional to both investigate and perform any required remediation at the site.” This action was part of a tranche of lawsuits taken as part of the New Jersey AG Office’s environmental justice initiative.
