New Jersey AG Filed Lawsuit over PCB Contamination

Acting New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin, along with the Department of Environmental Protection, announced a lawsuit against Monsanto Co. and two other corporate defendants over damage to resources due to contamination from polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). The lawsuit sought compensation from the defendants for Natural Resource Damages regarding the manufacturing, distribution, sale and reckless discharge of PCBs.
