New Hampshire AG Held Recycling Company Accountable for Falsifying Reports

New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella announced that a recycling company, Hammond Grinding and Recycling Inc., had been indicted for six felony counts of solid waste facility violations. Over a period of three years, the company exceeded the permit capacity for waste at their site, failed to notify the state’s Department of Environmental Services, and reported false numbers on the facility’s annual report to give the appearance of complying with the permits. If convicted, the company would face a fine of up to $25,000 per charge.
