Michigan AG Withdrew from Lawsuit Challenging Clean Power Plan

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel filed a motion to withdraw Michigan from West Virginia et al. v. EPA, an ongoing lawsuit challenging the Obama-era Clean Power Plan regulating emissions from fossil fuel-fired power plants. Under AG Nessel’s predecessor, former Attorney General Bill Schuette, Michigan was one of a number of states that challenged the Clean Power Plan. The motion to withdraw was granted on January 23.
