Michigan AG Successfully Advocated for Lower Natural Gas Rate Increase

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel successfully negotiated a settlement agreement with natural gas supplier SEMCO Energy Gas Company under which the company agreed to reduce its requested rate increase by 50%, and to expand two programs that provide monthly credits to low-income customers. SEMCO serves approximately 300,000 customers in Michigan.
