Michigan AG Advocated to Reduce Consumer Energy Rate Increase

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel filed testimony before the Michigan Public Service Commission to advocate for reducing Consumers Energy’s requested rate increase by over 50%. Consumers Energy filed an application to increase rates by 6.5% for all rate classes. AG Nessel argued that only a 2.88% increase was needed.
