Massachusetts Intervened in Utility Rate Case, Saving Ratepayers $9 Million

Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell announced a settlement with Constellation Mystic Power, the owner of a generation station, following a protest against the company’s attempt to recover $52 million in profits. The settlement will save consumers a total of $9 million in electricity rates, pending approval by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
