Massachusetts AG Settled with Company over Unsafe Asbestos Removal

In November 2021, Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey filed a lawsuit against an asbestos abatement company alleging that it violated state clean air laws by failing to properly remove asbestos from clients’ homes.
In December 2021, AG Healey announced that a settlement had been reached. Under the consent judgments, the company was required to pay up to $245,000 in penalties.
