Maryland AG Penned Op-Ed Criticizing FERC’s Failure to Protect Communities of Color in Policy Decisions

Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh co-authored an opinion piece in The Hill urging the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to consider the effects of its policy statements on communities of of color. According to the op-ed, FERC is failing these communities by walking back its proposed reforms on how the agency considers environmental justice and climate impacts when certifying new gas infrastructure.
