Maryland AG Filed Lawsuit against Companies over Diesel Fuel Spill

Maryland Attorney General Anthony G. Brown filed a lawsuit against two companies (D.M. Bowman, Inc. and Day and Sons, Inc) for illegally releasing diesel fuel during drilling operations. An estimated 7,000 gallons of diesel were spilled as a result of the companies’ alleged negligence. The lawsuit sought penalties, as well as injunctions requiring the companies to clean up and address the impacts of the spill.
