Maryland AG and EJ Advocates Pen Op-Ed About Protecting EJ Communities from Climate Disaster

Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh—along with director of Port Arthur Community Action Network, John Beard, and organizing director for Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas for Healthy Gulf and director and CEO of The Vessel Project of Louisiana, Roishetta Ozane—wrote an op-ed in The Hill titled Who will protect communities of color from climate disaster? The piece outlined how the expansion of fossil fuel infrastructure on the Gulf Coast threatens communities of color, and urged the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to protect environmental justice communities by fully acknowledging and addressing the harms of these toxic and dangerous facilities.
