Fourteen AGs Pushed to Protect Endangered Species

Fourteen attorneys general and the City of New York submitted a comment letter to the Fish & Wildlife Service and the National Marine Fisheries Service in support of the agencies’ proposed rule to rescind Trump-administration decisions that dramatically reduced the designation of critical habitats and restricted the definition of habitat under the Endangered Species Act. The coalition urged the agencies to finalize its recission of the two rules as soon as possible and additionally, to address the threats brought on by habitat degradation and supporting recovery.
