Eleven AGs Filed Petition for Review of EPA Guidance on Hydrofluorocarbons

New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood led a coalition of 11 attorneys general in filing a petition for review the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) industry guidance on hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), a family of potent greenhouse gases. The attorneys general are challenging the EPA’s “unlawful” guidance entitled “Protection of Stratospheric Ozone: Notification of Guidance and a Stakeholder Meeting Concerning the Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program.”
