Eleven AGs Filed Lawsuit Challenging Unlawful Delay of 2015 Waters of the United States Rule

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman led a coalition of 11 attorneys general in filing a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for suspending the 2015 Waters of the United States rule for two years. The attorneys general argue the EPA ignored scientific evidence and a multi-year comment process and unlawfully changed the definition of “waters of the United States.”
