Connecticut AG Announced Settlement with Eversource for Deceptive Marketing Tactics

Connecticut Attorney General William Tong announced a $1.8 million settlement with Eversource over alleged deceptive marketing that lured consumers to convert to natural gas. After a report by Hartford Courant Columnist Kevin Rennie highlighted notices from Eversource that showed the company was making false claims to consumers, the AG opened up an investigation and found that the claims were false and misleading.
