California AG Reached Agreement to Protect Communities from Stockton Industrial Park

California Attorney General Rob Bonta reached an agreement with the City of Stockton over its plans to build an industrial park near an environmental justice community. The settlement follows two letters that AG Bonta sent to the City of Stockton in October 2021 and April 2022 outlining his concerns. The agreement required the city to develop “robust mitigation measures” addressing the pollution generated by the proposed warehouses and future warehouse development projects in the city.
