California AG Filed Lawsuit Against Metal Factory for Toxic Emissions and Failure to Warn Nearby Community

California Attorney General Rob Bonta filed a lawsuit against the metal manufacturing company AB&I for emitting high levels of air pollution containing hexavalent chromium into a community already feeling the effects of other toxic emissions. The suit also alleged that the company failed to warn those living near the facility of the risks associated with being exposed to the known carcinogen.
