California AG and New Mexico AG Filed Comments Opposing BLM’s Proposed Rollback of Methane Waste Prevention Rule

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra and New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas submitted comments to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) “in opposition to the proposal by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management to rescind or revise certain requirements of its 2016 final rule governing the prevention of waste from oil and gas operations on federal and Indian lands.”
