Arizona AG Filed Lawsuit against Chemical Companies, Including 3M and DuPont, over PFAS Manufacturing

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes filed a lawsuit against several companies, including 3M and DuPont, for polluting the state’s resources by manufacturing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), also known as “forever chemicals” for their resistance to breaking down the human body and the environment. According to a statement by AG Mayes, the companies “have known for decades that so-called ‘forever chemicals’ would contaminate water supplies for generations to come but chose to sell their products anyway.”
