Alaska AG Ordered Outdoor Writer to Pay Fines for Illegal Harvest of Musk Ox

Alaska Attorney General Treg Taylor’s office successfully brought a case against an outdoor writer for illegally harvesting a musk ox from Kotzebue. Paul Dewitt Atkins agreed to a plea agreement and pleaded guilty a count of failure to comply with hunt permit conditions among other misdemeanors. He was ordered to pay fines and restitutions and his hunting license was revoked for three years.
