Massachusetts AG Settled with Company over Unsafe Asbestos Removal

Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey announced a settlement against an asbestos abatement company that violated state clean air laws by failing to properly remove asbestos from clients’ homes. AG Healey filed a lawsuit against the company in November; the consent judgments, filed on December 10, require the company to pay up to $245,000 in penalties.
