Sixteen AGs Filed Supplemental Brief in Baltimore Case Against Fossil Fuel Companies

Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh led a coalition of 16 attorneys general in filing a supplemental brief in the City of Baltimore’s case against fossil fuel companies. In a supplemental brief, the fossil fuel companies attempted to remove the case to federal court. The states’ brief urged the Court to reject this attempt, arguing that the national and global implications of the companies’ conduct doesn’t change the fact that the City’s claims are for state-law violations.
