District of Columbia AG Secures Settlement with Company for Use of Lead Paint

District of Columbia Attorney General Karl Racine reached a settlement with Universal Flooring and Remodeling, LLC, a local construction company that worked on residential homes with lead paint without certified personnel, which the AG’s office discovered during an investigation. Under the settlement, the company had to pay $25,000 in civil penalties and make sure that their workers were certified.
