Twenty AGs Sent Letter to Congress Demanding Swift Climate Response

New York Attorney General Letitia James led a coalition of 20 attorneys general in sending a letter to the chairs of multiple House and Senate committees urging Congress to respond to the climate emergency and advance environmental justice through the passage of infrastructure legislation and a budget reconciliation package. The AGs urged Congress to promote clean and renewable energy, invest in transportation electrification, encourage energy efficiency and conservation, address methane pollution, and invest in overburdened communities.
