Sixteen AGs Sent Letter Urging Congress to Oppose Bill Delaying Implementation of Ozone Air Quality Standards

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman led a coalition of sixteen attorneys general in sending a letter to the chairs and ranking members of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works and the House Committee on Energy and Commerce detailing their opposition to the Ozone Standards Implementation Act of 2017 which would “delay the ozone rule promulgated by the Environmental Protection Agency in 2015,” which is “expected to result in vital public health benefits.”
