New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman led a coalition of six attorneys general in filing comments urging the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) to “immediately close a loophole to prevent highly flammable, highly explosive crude oil from being shipped by freight rail via so-called ‘bomb trains’ through communities” in their states.
