Alabama AG Reached Settlement with Company Responsible for Wastewater Spill

Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall announced a $3 million settlement with Tyson Farms, Inc. for a 2019 wastewater spill that killed around 175,000 fish in the nearby Black Warrior River. The settlement included a grant that will help facilitate the monitoring of local water quality.
